I work in local government.  My team of data analysts work with managers in social services, schools, community health and youth services.

The team are also currently looking at new technologies to help professionals collaborate more easily with each other and work with children and families in innovative ways.

i-canhelp came about from an idea that lots of people would be happy to help out a bit but don't want to formally volunteer.  Small tasks, like picking up someone's shopping, or organising street clean-ups, or even just borrowing a drill from a neighbour.

My interests include hillwalking, technology, music and buddhist meditation.
